Tech Lead

About the role.

As a Tech Lead, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure for our products. Your expertise in Nest, TypeScript, and back-end development will be instrumental in ensuring our systems' scalability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities.

• Develop web application back-ends using Nest.js with TypeScript.
• Create and maintain data structures in relational databases, cache, and file buckets.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code to keep applications reliable and maintainable.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure overall application responsiveness.
• Assist in the development of internal tools.
• Provide technical mentorship for developers on software architecture and design patterns.
• Review and approve pull requests and safeguard overall code quality.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, including workshops and seminars for the team.
• Support the creation and optimization of documentation and processes.
• Oversee support work on the projects you manage, and provide direct support when needed.
• Support project setup, configuration, and delivery when transitioned to client environments.
• Collaborate with the product department on developer allocation and alternative solutions.
• Support hiring procedures, including interviews and technical assessments.

Qualifications.

• 5+ years of experience working with NestJS.
• 2+ years working with TypeScript.
• Experience with complex deployments using sockets, queues, cache, cronjobs, and similar.
• Experience with any cloud provider (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience creating unit and integration tests with Mocha, Jest, or others.
• Experience with relational or non-relational databases.
• Experience leading teams and participating in customer-facing meetings.
• Strong knowledge of DDD, SOLID principles, and Clean Code Architecture.
