Capturing All Requirement
CapTech needed a comprehensive design simulation covering hundreds of screens and workflows across three different user types: managers, technicians, and customers. The SolutionLab mapped every process, giving the team a unified, visual understanding of how the entire operation should work inside the platform.
Integrating Airtable for Cost-Effective Development
Airtable became the cloud database powering the system. By using Airtable as the backend and administrative panel, we were able to focus development on the mobile app experience without building a costly custom backend. Airtable also served as a shareable interface for partners and customers, letting them view wells, maintenance history, and job details at a glance.
UX/UI Design & Prototype.
The platform needed to support three different user types, the UX/UI had to be intuitive, data-rich, and visually clear. Technicians required streamlined task tracking with GPS support and automatic photo tagging tied to each job site, replacing the old process of sorting through photos on their phones. Managers needed real-time oversight. Customers required transparency.
The resulting prototype gave CapTech a beautifully designed, fully interactive vision of how their field operations could run with modern, efficient software.
A dedicated product team
Designli acted as CapTech’s outsourced engineering department for six months, deploying a full-time team of developers, designers, QA specialists, and a Product Owner to build the custom platform. After launch, we shifted to a light support plan, keeping the system running smoothly without adding ongoing strain to CapTech’s budget.
