Work with an expert team to launch your product.

Our process makes it easy, taking you from a napkin sketch to a fully developed app or web-app in 3 steps.

Step 1 The SolutionLab.

Similar to building a custom home, there are many decisions that need to be made when it comes to executing your software idea. Think of the SolutionLab like hiring an architect to design your new custom home, prior to having a contractor pour cement. Having a blueprint is vital to ensuring your team of designers and developers are entirely on the same page.

How do you know where to begin?

The problem with custom software is that you'll explain your app idea to a dozen different firms, and you'll hear quotes back ranging from $30,000 to $300,000. How do you know you're making the right decision? This is why we begin with working to 'frame-up' the goals of what it is we're looking to accomplish, identifying the simplest possible product we can build to solve your problem.

Follow the ‘lean startup’ methodology.

Let’s say we were trying to solve the problem of transportation, getting from Point A to Point B. You wouldn’t want to start by building a car company out of nowhere - that’d be cost-prohibitive unless you were an eccentric billionaire. Your customers might not even need, or want, a car. That is why we start with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to get paying customers in the door.

SolutionLab output:

A blueprint that describes the exact features and functions of your software project - both in writing and in visual form. This includes an exploration of your app or website's business model, risks that need to be known before you jump in, and a roadmap for the investment and timeline required to bring it to fruition.

Step 2 Graphic design & prototyping.

Secure buy-in from future users and stakeholders with an interactive prototype to make sure you’re building the right thing.

Design & prototyping output:

A fully designed simulation of your digital product, showing exactly how each screen looks, feels, and functions. All of your app or website's individual screens will be transformed into a usable 'prototype' that can be installed on your phone or sent via a link to investors (for fundraising), future users (for feedback and concept validation), or stakeholders (for buy-in) prior to jumping into development.

Step 3 Development.

Here’s where we’ll write code. Development is conducted using an Agile methodology where projects are broken up into digestible Sprints, allowing key features to be tested and progress to be monitored at regular intervals. Each week, we’ll show you what has been done and what is next.

Development output:

Your working, installable app or website that is ready to accept users, perform its intended function, and generate revenue. Each feature will be quoted individually, which means that even if you had chosen to strip away some desired functionality for the first version to stick to a predetermined budget, you'll know what it will take to add it back in during a future iteration.

Step 4 Maintenance & iteration.

Based on analytics and feedback gathered from your product’s users, our focus will be on driving customer satisfaction and engagement by managing a backlog of new features and enhancements.

Maintenance & iteration output:

The regular prioritization and implementation of enhancements and new functionality, making your app or website more polished and feature-rich over time. This keeps your users engaged and your business humming along, with your new software product showing its value each and every day.

Let's build together.

We'd love to hear about your product or idea.
